MSSA's American Cancer Society Regatta is our biggest event of each year. In the past, we conducted this Regatta in August, and we've been plagued with fickle-to-nonexistent winds as a result. So for 2019, we tried moving it later in the season, to September 21. As you'll see by the on-the-water photos, our strategy failed to deliver a better breeze for the race. Nevertheless, we were able to get the race in, and the party that followed, as always, was epic. More importantly, we raised a bunch of money for cancer research.
Here are a bunch of photos from the race, the party, and the awards presentation, courtesy of William Patrie and Thomas Lynch. Thanks, Gentlemen, for the great pix! (Note: you can find all of Thomas' MSSA pictures on his website, at http://www.l-y-n-c-h.com/MSSA/.)
